About an hour later, the pair enter the barn again. The gelding's breath comes in quick puffs, and his neck is damp with sweat. Mandy's face is flushed, her brow glistening with perspiration. Quickly she dismounts and undoes the cinch, slipping the saddle off of Cam's steaming back. Then she opens the stall door, slipping the bridle off as the horse steps inside.

Mandy removes her hat, patting down her marred hair with one hand while surveying the gelding. Idley replacing the cowboy hat, she goes and fills a bucket with luke warm water and dunks a sponge in, proceeding to sponge off Cam.

As she finishes, she steps out of the stall and notices the horse pacing restlessly. She frowns, casting a critical eye over the paint's sleek form. "Hey there, fella. Whatcha doin' running in your stall?" She steps over to the door, holding out her hand. "Haven't you been ridden lately?"
