1. The soundscape changed as new instruments were introduced and the lyrics became more poetic. Until Revolver most of the arrangement was typical rock style, but on Revolver they added the sitar in songs like Tomorrow Never Knows. The depth of the lyrics also changed from "I want to hold your hand" to "lookin through a glass onion".
2. as mentoined previously the poetic nature of the beatles lyrics increased greatly between songs like "I saw her standing there" and "Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite"
3. Eleanor Rigby does not sound like a rock song, it is not arranged like a rock song, and it isn't about the classic themes of boy meets girl and they fall in love. The reason it is a rock song i because the beatles play it.
4. I like the experimental era the best because of its depth and because the risks taken. this shows that the artist is truly doing what they want which leads to a more passionate performance.
