1. During the early ages, songs like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" were mainstream and very poppy giving birth to the era of "Beatlemania". A Hard Days Night marked the middle time era because it was right when The Beatles popularity stayed at a constant and "Beatlemania" died down. When recording "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I think The Beatles were a bit more mature with there music and began writing about different things and got over the typical love songs about young ladies. I also think the Beatles began experimenting with drugs which lead to a more mellow sound of music.

2. The lyrical content changed because the Beatles grew up and matured further causing them to write different songs. For example, In my life is clearly not about young romance its more about the places you've been and people you've met over a long time period called life.

3.
