Continued... that were very refined with set rhythms and basically a sort of music that was expected for the time, most of the dancing was ballroom and the norm didn't really stray from the kind of upperclass culture or the clubs for the new orleans jazz. After that was the swing jazz of the 1930's and the 1940's which became a very sexual dancing movement which to be perfectly honest swing jazz doesn't seem to really give off that vibe but anyway, it was much more energetic and sexual with a very rebellious vibe. After that came Rock and Roll with Chuck Berry and Little richard which kind of had some jazz elements and some rock guitar elements that really played to the cheesier movies of america like grease or...others. the fifties seemed to be highly concentrated on the fine american art of loitering...oh and leather jackets, they had those too. anyway we have the british invasion and all the craziness of the sixties with The Beatles, The MOnkeys, The beach boys and other such bands as well. needless to say the young women of this decade were afflicted with an uncontrollible sickness that caused them to scream at anybody with a guitar and a bowl cut. but seriously this was the peak of the beatle's career and also the beach boys who released pet sounds. so all in all a pretty good decade.
