Why I Don�t Write Love Poems

A theme of love
is perhaps the most difficult to capture in poetry.
How to express the inexpressible?
How to be unique and not sentimental?
How does one express love?

Is love the rose wrapped in prose that
contrasts the imminent death of the gift with
the immortality of what it represents?

Is love a zero-sum game?
Is love that sappy � everyone wins?

I think love and lust are equivalent.
The outcome is the same.
