And you offered me snow.
For purification, I thought, to become again pristine, and bye-the-bye
I was scoured by your rough arctic winds, and came to understand the tundra is also a desert
and the bite of frost is the only kiss
the Aurora Borealis have for me.

~ *sighhh* now THAT is gorgeous!!!

I've written one Sestina, and don't think I'll be doing another one, as I found the form just a little too limiting for me...but I was glad I got 1 written, just to say I've done one..lol. This poem may not be completely true to how I understand the form to be, but it is just such a beautiful piece of poetry, I absolutely love your poetic voice, my friend, and we are blessed to have you here...

loving this lots!!!

*hugs*

Sash xx

Hello Jessica

First, the tale, wrought through the passage of a love tropics apart, tugged my heart as I read, and left me hollow, and wanting so much more for her.

Second, the form, i'm just learning of, and am lapping in your construct in lessons of understanding, for me though, the tale and the form so well matched.

Thank you for the teaching.

Max
