STOP SHORT #1: Faded Roses
~*~ a 5 ch Chinese Chueh-chu

Faded roses cling to earth,
Roots tangle, a sighing wind,
Seeking moisture from the sky
Waiting for... drought to rescind

I keep trying and trying to write one of these lovely asian poems, but they aren't working. You, however, have mastered the form. This is absolutely lovely. I love the image...these forms are like tiny, exquisite snapshots and yours is delicate and beautiful.

wonderful job, Kristen! More please?

:)

Jess
