Write a three part inverted Haiku based on your perception of
this photograph.

Three part inverted haiku formula:

numbers represent syllable count.

5-7-5
paragraph

7-5-7
paragraph

5-7-5

written like a sonnet where the final
stanza would resemble a closing finish
(couplet) to the poem.

If I am the only one who responds to this
challenge I must conclude I am surrounded
by gutless foes.

LOL

How's that for reverse phychology?

Bang a Gong!

Into the night.

The horizon calls,
Harley throbbing to my heart,
Tears fall from my eyes,

She did not see my leaving,
Not that she would care,
Her legs wrapped round her lover,

I burn the highway,
The gas tank soon to empty,
Like my broken heart,

wow!

I was busting balls about me being the only one
to jump in here and now I don't know how i can
start from scratch without being influenced by
you take on things.

Life is like that-- poetry even more so!

Well Done!

Leading Me Home

the long road waits now
ribboned tresses glisten jet
to beckon me home

when the soft winds leave my soul
gently will I twine
the infinite kiss of white

softly, darkly hushed
where all roads meet and release
where you are, my heart

Street Stomping

white lines lead me home
roads can be hypnotizing
four hours feels like two

in the space between the lines
the road bleeds to black
while the moon reflects my soul

accelerating
as the wind blows back my hair
radio blaring

Destiny Awaits

The heat waves press in.
Reality is a blur
out on the fringes.

The road calls me on
to where the sky touches earth
with bright clarity.

There, beyond that hill
my destiny waits...
I will continue.

Shalah,

What a surprise!

You win this challenge!

I officially close it and move your poem to
the lobby. Wow, never expected to find this
here and thinking about how your words relate
to your life the poem for me becomes quite
profound.

Congrats-- on your coming award!

love ya,
andy
