With this form, should there be a set syllable count? I didn't bother at all, Mick kept it REALLY tight! LOL. Date Posted: 07:51:57 01/26/08 Sat Petrarchan's are typically iambic, but some have been in hexameter or tetrameter. I didn't mention any because, um....syllables aren't really my thing, lol. These sonnets aren't associated with a syllable count the way shakespearean are, and in my book, rules are meant to be challenged and ignored. ;) Jess [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
