Did you do this after a weird dream?

You are so many things at once.

A true artist Sash, that's what you are
when all is said and done.

My guess is you could take this drawing
(instead of someone else's) and write an
awesome poem about it.

Not meant for pushing you there more that
I know where the picture and the poems come
from.

I've seen this before but, it's so raw and
ready it demands a second look if only to
ask, "Why are the eyes all closed?"

Only an artist can do such things without intention.

Now, did I ramble long enough for you to believe I am
back, good, cause I may not have rested long enough yet.

and you are the only one who has ever asked about the eyes :)
I love that you asked....they are asleep, as in eternal sleep..
this picture did indeed come on the back of a series of weird dreams
I woke up, opened my eyes and saw this tree in front of my face (no drugs either..lol)
it seemed to be breathing...but as my eyes cleared I could see the tree so clearly
and there were faces in the tree, eyes closed...

At the time of having these dreams I had been asked to draw a piece that depicted
our connection to nature and our ancestors, so that is who I figured the faces in the tree to represent

I love that you stopped in here, hon
