Allo!

I suppose, being a new moderator, I should say something about myself here. I stumbled upon the Motel thru a random link someone left and felt like I had to step up to the challenge. I can rarely resist them. I didn't know anyone, but call it Kismet or Fate or something, it was exactly what I needed. I'm not a writer, or a poet or even artistic, but I felt I needed a new method for processing life...thus most of my work is hugely introspective and my scope is probably limited. I have a few themes that reoccur...Tops being Snow, as I recently moved to what seems like the tundra up here! ;) I'm surprised that science and physics don't show up more, as I'm stalled somewhere along the way to my Phd in physics, but poetry for me is more about the sensory experience of being human rather than quantifying it or explaining it. And that makes reading what is posted here at the Motel manna for me because each time I get to read someone's baby, their soul's creation, I get to feel a little of what it's like to be them, how they see the world, how they process information. It makes life more a shared journey than a lonely road. And for that, I'm grateful to all you, my Friends here at the M3.

Namaste,
Jess

PS: I can be reached at lola_blossom@yahoo.com and on YIM under the same lola_blossom.

Jess,

You rock! You have it down, don't quantify it.
Save that for the lab Doctor. It's obvious that
you are a very special woman.

We are blessed to have you here amongst us.

I take exception to you claiming not to be a poet.
Sometimes we are much more than we realize.

Thanks for helping to make the Motel shine
with your glow.

andy
