30 or 40 years ago we got trains every 5-7 minutes of off hours and every 3-5 minutes rush hour. Let's take a good look at who ran the trains and who owned and ran the lines. Back then we had the IRT, IND and BMT. Each one ran pretty damned well and were clean! Today we have one great big mass mess and the operators have change a lot! Maybe Tamney Hall had something to do with the competence and dependability of the old way. Today we pay a hell of a lot more for a hell of a lot less! You want a smoot transition from train to train? NOT in NYC!
