Subject: Q22 Bus Number 3584 March 6, 2008 B116th and RBB

I came across RBB from the back of the bus. The bus was stopped at the corner for a red light. The door to the bus was closed. As I got to the door of the bus, the driver SAW me standing there and began to pull away from the curb! The traffic light (heading toward Roxbury) was still red. I knocked on the door of the bus since the driver couldn't have pulled away at that moment but he (the driver) liiked right at me, stepped on the gas a pulled away!

I've always been very supportive of the drivers on this line. Some of the greatest people drive the Q22 in spite of what they have to deal with at the west end of the route.

But this is just miserable and nasty and unforgivable especially in view of the fact that the MTA just gave us the shaft in the form of fare hikes!

The time of this event was about 12:00 or 12:15. I'd like to have this driver pulled "Out of Service" since he really and truly HATES his job and needs to find another one, preferably where he won't be in contact with people.

I tried to contact the MTA Bus service but the idiot who took my call and told me he would transfer the call to the appropriate person simply disconnected me. It took me about 15 minutes just to get through to him in the first place because nobody there answers the phone to being with!

Yup. TWO jobs that need to go!
