There certainly is a Callaway machine still alive and well. That's exactly how Evans got the mayoral job. How short your memory is! It was a put-up job to get one of 3 Callaway butt buddies into the mayor's chair. It didn't matter which one, just one. And Evans was the one! He's as corrupt as Callaway. The plan is to get him elected for a four-year term, so that by the time Callaway gets out of jail in 4 years, he's back in as King of AC. He doesn't even have to be elected. He'll have the best of both worlds. Wake up! The Callaway stain is not gone, it's spreading!!!

Despite challenges, Evans was declared the legitimate choice of the AC Democratic Committee who voted him into office much to the Langford element's dismay. Evans corrupt?? He has never done an illegal thing in or out of office. If anyone has evidence to the contrary, let them turn that info into the Atlantic County Prosecutor or shut up! As far as Callaway coming out of the slammer and resuming politics the man isn't insane. He knows the consequences if he even steps one toe into that pool again. One trip to the pen is enough. Oh yeah..Evans never bilked the taxpayers out of a bogus settlement either. He earned every cent he made as a city employee the hard way as a firefighter. The pretenders to the throne can't find anything but the ghost of Callaway to try and do a smear job on Evans. It's pathetic and deplorable but in line with the lack of ethics of Evans opposition. Character assasination is their stock in trade. It marks them as the losers they are.

Wow what an active imagination! That Callaway prediction is up there with the UFO conspiracy! Callaway as a power broker? Laughable. His seat will be taken many times before he's out of jail and even then no politician in their right mind will have anything to do to connect themselves with him. Get real!He's Texas Toast! So's that "prediction."

He doesn't have to run for anything anymore. He's like Eddie DeNic. He now controls the voting process with the messenger and absentee ballots. Anyone who doesn't give him what he wants will not get those ballots in their column. That's why Evans hired four of his family members since he was crowned mayor by the Callaway machine. You can deny it all you want, but we're going to make sure that the REAL AC voters understand the connection between Evans and Callaway. It won't be pretty.
