My name is Midge, I am a fly,
Often I’ll take flight,
Round and round your bedroom,
In the darkness of the night,

It gets so very boring,
If you haven’t got a chum,
So to keep me feeling happy,
I have a little hum,

Hmmmmm, I hum into your ear,
As round your head I goes,
Sometimes if I am feeling brave,
I fly right up your nose,

I fly around the pillow,
As you’re about to rest,
You wave your arms quite madly,
Do you think I am a pest?

So if you hear a humming noise,
As off to sleep you go,
It’s only me, your old friend midge,
Just come to say hello!
