] Date Posted: 13:18:56 01/01/08 Tue Silence As tiny children sleep in bed a soft pillow lying under their heads, The moon is full with not a cloud in the sky, as puppy and kitty by the fireplace sigh, They sigh only in their minds that their owners cannot play, as outside the fish float in the bay, The owl has been awakened by the stars in the sky,it takes off for flight in the middle of the night, Soon there is not one sound there is silence in the night as dawn approaches, and the darkness slowly fades away, This night is over but it will be reborn at the end of a country day. Date Posted: 17:51:16 01/04/08 Fri Thanks so much for reading and reviewing Maggie's poetry. She's had a rough time of it lately and she needs the boost! I showed her this page and she became inspired. Today she showed her poetry to her teachers and the social worker at school that she confides in. She came home really happy:) Thanks again!
