look in deep behind the pooling wasteland
of the desert-skinned solace
where innocence skips down a barrel
hollow of steel

desensitized by the intolerance of redeeming
graced propaganda of their forefathers,
they bless us with their small hands

as we lie in fallow graves

our sons and daughters are choired to arrive
en désordre at their destination
while the tears of the maternal well
fill to overflowing

when does it end?
where do these children sleep
when the blood has run dry?
