Chris, i completely agree with you. I also think that the SAC was one of Eisenhower's most important foreign policy actions was the SAC. But, i forgot that Russia had nuclear weapons too, so it would be crucial for the United States to have them also. If the SAC hadn't been created the the Russians would be able to attack us easily. Good point Chris.
