Subject: My tonsillectomy experience and other surgeries

I had a couple of interesting experiences with surgery.

My first time was when I was 10 and I was supposed to have my tonsils removed. I arrived at the hospital with my mom and was taken to a room where they weighed me checked my height breathing Heart beat and temperature before I was given a grown a pair of socks and a cap for my hair to put on. A little bit after that I met with the doctor who would be putting me to sleep for the surgery. After that I was told that the surgeon was running late and I would be taken to the operating room and prepared for the surgery. They had me lay down on the operating table and they hooked me up to the monitoring equipment and put me to sleep. After I was asleep they ended up canceling my surgery before they started it and I was only in the operating room for about 5 minutes after I was put under general anesthesia, I woke up about 10 minutes after that and found out that they didn't do my surgery.

My next time having surgery was when I was 13 and I had one of my adult teeth stuck and I had some dental surgery where they put me to sleep for it for that one they after hooking me up to monitoring equipment they had me put on a plastic gown over my clothes and they put a surgery cap on my head and a paper bib around my neck before I was put to sleep and I woke up after it was done without the bib and gown on.

My next surgery was when I was 14 and I had a hernia repair surgery and during it they removed my appendix because they noticed it was inflamed when they were looking inside my belly.

When I was 15 after I had my braces off I had my wisdom teeth removed and it was a similar setup for my other dental surgery experience.

My most recent one was getting my tonsils removed at 16 along with my adinods as well. I joked about how I was finally getting it done before the surgery and I remember waking up after it with a mask with a plastic bag on it and my throat hurt and I knew that I had actually had the surgery done before they told me that everything went very well during it and I had no complications during the surgery.
