Subject: Odd procedures I had as a kid and early teen in foster care

Hi Iâ€™m Logan a 23 year old medical student who just found out after looking into my medical records from when I was a kid in foster care and talking about it with one of the doctors at my medical school.
I had some sort of weird experimental surgery done when I was 10, 12 and 14, after that I was removed from the family that I was with.
According to the notes from the doctor it was to keep me from being a fat kid, they put some sort of balloon into my stomach to make it smaller so I would have a smaller appetite and each time I would go to see the doctor at the ages of 12 and 14 I had two procedures done the first was having a camera into my mouth and into my stomach to check on the balloon and the second was a surgery through my Bellybutton to do something with the balloon in my stomach.
I recently had a procedure to look at it after the doctor at my school looked at my medical records, I also had a CT scan with contrast.
Currently Iâ€™m scheduled for surgery in the morning to try and remove the balloon from my stomach.
