Man, 23yo, Turkey, Exam for prostate problems

I am a male. I was a grown-up person, 23yo. The exam occured in Turkey, Year 2000 or after, in a hospital. Transported myself. An urologist and an assistant nurse did the exam, with the nurse doing most of the work. Inflamed prostate checking, and checking for possible prostate cancer.

OVERVIEW OF THE EXAM

They examined my genitals. They did a general examination of my pelvic zones. They inserted instruments into my rectal opening, ultrasound device. They took ultrasound pictures of the examined areas. Inflamed prostate checking and for for possible prostate cancer

ARRANGEMENTS

I was clothed at the body parts that were not examined. My positions during the exam: Bent over examination table

THE EVENT STEP BY STEP

First asic questions regarding symptoms, Then I bent over exam table for manual prostate exam with fingers. Me lying on my back they utilized an ultrasound probe to image my prostate. The doctor then left with instructions for the nurse to collect a blood and prostate fluid sample. The nurse took a standard blood sample. The nurse had me bend over the exam table and manually stimulated my prostate to collect the fluid. The samples were collected I got dressed and left.

REASON AND JUDGEMENT ABOUT THE EVENT

What do you think was the reason for this exam? Suspected prostate problem? What is your opinion about this experience? Extraction of prostate fluid was very embarrassing.

MORE ABOUT THE EXAM METHOD

They palpated my outar male genitals and testicles. They performed a ultrasound exam on my genitals, including my testicles. They examined my my prostate with an ultrasound sond into my anus. They palpated my prostate with a finger into my rectum. They examined my rectum with an inserted finger. They examined my rectum with an ultrasound sond.

The nurse handled my penis in a sexual manner when collecting prostate fluid.

DIAGNOSIS AND FOLLOW-UP

The exam resulted in this diagnosis: Prostatitis. Follow up after taking medicine for several weeks. Provided another prostate fluid sample.


COMMENTS

This looks like a normal exam to investigate prostate problems. The easiest way to collect prostate fluid and semen sample is by sexual stimulation.

Usually one lets the man do this himself. But if it is important to collect prostate fluid without full semen, the techique is more difficult, which might be the reason why the nurse did it. Still I guess the nurse got some sexual gratification by this procedure, and that might have infuenced her manner.
