IT'S AN ESTABLISHED NAME, KNOWN IN THE AREA AND IN OTHER FRONTIER LEAGUE MARKETS. Many past & present CHEETAHS fans have team jerseys, hats and other team wear. What are we supposed to do with it; burn it? I paid a lot of money for this stuff!!! In an effort to increase attendance, an established team name will help sell more tickets, NOT a new one. It will confuse fans. I'm looking forward to great things in 2004! Best of luck to the new ownership group!! I've been going to CHEETAHS games since 1999, when they moved to Crestwood. I attended 36 games at "The Hawk" last season. Remember, it's the fan's game!!! Will there be free CHEETAHS exhibition games played at the Hawk, prior to the regular season starting (as has been the case in past years)?
