yes, I had a lot of anxiety while I was on effexor.
I used to wake up drenched in sweat and overcome by
anxiety, especially when I forgot to take my evening dose.

I never had anxiety AFTER I stopped effexor, which I
attribute to SAM-e, but I am the only subject of my
SAM-e clinical study, so I cannot speak statistically.
I did have some withdrawal symptoms, such as mild zaps,
that lasted about 4 days, and then they were gone.
You need to make a decision about SAM-e for yourself.
Perhaps you should read everything there is to find about it
on the web, in bookstores and in biochemical textbooks.
