First, we wish to personally apologize to the people who have shared their frustrations on this list.
When We first read your entries we were of those that disbelieved much of what you described. We sided with those that were the cause of your pain and truly regret it. We were blind and today we ask your forgiveness.
In turn, we also forgive those brethren who knew what took place in our situation and who failed to provide testimony as a second witness, chose not to get involved or downplayed and denied the events took place. It hurt us deeply at the time, but now we see it was part of Yahweh's plan and Praise Him for all He has shown us.
Next, we would like to publicly state that effective, January 20, 2014, after 29 years of “membership”, we are no longer worshiping with the Assemblies of Yahweh, located at Bethel, PA. We praise Yahweh for leading us out of the confusion, sin and hypocrisy and showing us His direction. The details of our personal ordeal are not important. Anyone interested in learning the truth is free to contact us.
Raise your hand if you were taught to believe there is no salvation outside of the AOY at Bethel. We were too, until Yahweh's Holy Spirit showed us the correct interpretation of John 15:2 ( a scripture used in the AOY Instruction in Covenant Committment to support the organization as being the one true body). When we examine the entire text we learn the vine is Yahshua, not the Assemblies of Yahweh organization at Bethel, PA. By obedience, Yahweh's people become the branches that are grafted-in to the vine, bearing fruit to repentance. Yahweh gave Yahshua the authority to determine who is cut off from the vine and He will do so with RIGHTEOUS judgment at Yahweh's appointed time. Praise Yahweh for Yahshua and our Hope of Salvation through obedience to the Word and His shed blood!
We remain fully committed to Almighty Yahweh and the sacrifice of His Son Yahshua the Messiah. We have separated from an organization that is not in harmony with Yahweh's Word. At our baptism we made a vow to faithfully serve Almighty Yahweh and His Son, Our Savior, Yahshua the Messiah. We cannot fulfill our vow in a place that is no longer serving Almighty Yahweh, a place where Yahweh's Holy Spirit is not evident.
We continue to pray for those left behind and struggling with the same decision. Please remember if you are a sincere, humble servant of Yahweh and follow in all His ways, he will not abandon you. Don't be fooled into thinking “I'm saved because I'm a member of the AOY, Bethel”, remember the Pharisees said virtually the same thing in Matt. 3:9. Yahweh is able to raise up another people anytime and anywhere. I believe that is what He is doing now.
