It is with great consternation that I feel compelled to level the playing field; and I humbly ask of your indulgence. Please understand we of the Assemblies of Yahweh do not proselytize; as it has been Elder Meyer's policy to simply witness Scriptural truth, and it is incumbent upon each person to make their own decision on whether to adhere or not. However at immersion we are bound by our promise to maintain qualifications for membership in the Assemblies of Yahweh. Where each member in good standing shall have been baptized into the Name of Yahshua the Messiah. And each member shall be living a life of total submission to our Heavenly Father Yahweh and to His royal Law, a life which indicates repentance and conversion. Everyone immersed makes a solemn promise to remain in agreement with the statement of doctrine and recognize it as a summary of the sound doctrines proclaimed by the inspired Scriptures.
Proverbs 15:9,10 The way of the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh: but he loves him that follows after righteousness. Correction is grievous to him that forsakes the way: and he that hates reproof shall die.
Elder Jacob O Meyer is a lot of things to a lot of different peoples. To most he was the President and Bishop of the Assemblies of Yahweh, and known simply as Elder Meyer. As a Religious Leader, Radio and Television Broadcaster, Author, Publisher, Teacher, Pastor, and lastly parent; he worked constantly teaching the bible, and the good news of the soon coming Kingdom of Yahshua The Messiah.
Inextricably many patriarchs who have also endeavored to sacrifice their lives to inculcate the metanoia of Yahweh have been tried and incessantly attacked by Satan, sometimes through evil descendants I.e. Genesis 4:6-8; 9:25; 27:41; 35:22; 1 John 3:12.
That being said; my knowledge of Elder Meyer is from the perspective of about thirty years of getting to know him through the Assemblies of Yahweh, twenty five of which I have been a baptized member; and much to my chagrin not all have been in good standing. However I want to be on record stating that to any of you who are victim to criminal offenses by evil perpetrators; who through no fault of your own suffered horrendously and grievously. It is with deep consideration that I pray you may find whatever it is you need for solace and closure. Albeit those of you who suffer as victimless casualties, Buck up; because we are at war with the evil one.
Elder Jacob O Meyer although at times was austere, because he took his commission very seriously, as well as his conviction that every member of the Assemblies of Yahweh strive to work on their personal salvation, which would achieve life eternal. This passion to learn and teach the Truth of Yahweh, and to keep believers pure and unspotted from the world; was driven out of love for all who shared that very same conviction. However what that individual did when they heard those words of truth is what predicated their relationship with Almighty Yahweh. Herein lies the verity of the juxtaposition of the blessings and the curses, as of all prophetic utterances, that is they are fulfilled with regard to the individual and or the families in question as a whole, but do not predict, like an irresistible out come, the unalterable end result to control every individual; on the contrary, they leave room for freedom of personal decision, and no more cut off the individuals and or the so called accursed family from the possibility of conversion, or close the way of salvation against the penitent, than they secure the individuals or the family blessed against the possibility of falling from a state of grace, and actually losing the blessing.
The harsh reality for everyone who enters in the covenant of Yahweh with a notional or idealistic promise is imminent failure. There is an immutable fact that when a person is wrong and won't change they will always become angry. And at the most basic level they only have themselves to blame.
There are no other organizations on earth trying to follow every injunction of Almighty Yahweh as the Assemblies of Yahweh. This can only be contributed to the due diligence of our beloved Elder Jacob O Meyer, who through the Holy Spirit of Father Yahweh, upheld the faith of His Son Yahshua the Messiah. Ultimately it is incumbent on everyone to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling c.f. Philippians 2:12–16. Whether you chose to be apart of Yahweh’s true Assembly or not is entirely a personal decision. c.f. Deuteronomy 30:15–20; Ephesians 4:4-6; Romans 12:4,5; John 15:4-6.
My personal witness is that Elder Jacob O Meyer, O.B.M. has ardently prayed everyone would come to this very conclusion. "In Yahshua's Name, May Almighty Yahweh Have Mercy On Us All."
