I was born and raised in the AOY organization. I believed what i was taught and I was sincere, i would pass out AOY tracks and witness to people. i was planning on getting baptized, and living for yahshua. however, when i became 21, i was subjected to certain information that proved to me that the AOY was a devil worshiping cult. I will provide all the information that will completely proved to you that Jesus is lord. I pray God almighty opens your heart as you read this and you are led to Christ.
First of all I want to say to all the people in AOY who are being abused by the leadership, I understand, I've been through it myself i know its rough. but you don't have to live the way they tell you and all the mental abuse they put you through is not your fault like they make it out to be.
Now the AOY has there own version of the bible, called "The Sacred Scriptures Bethel Edition" have any of you ever thought about where their bible came from or why there are hundreds of different versions of the bible. The reason for this is there are two different versions of the ancient texts. one is called the "textus receptus" the other is called the "alexandrian text" the Textus Receptus comes from Antioch its the closest to the originals that are in existences. The Alexandrian comes from Egypt which was edited by a man named Origen. that man took out verses that he didn't like and replaced them with verses he thought were more fitting. then him and his cult called the Alexandrians made copies of there bible and over time they spread out. now the Kings James version was translated from the Textus Receptus which makes up about 99 percent of all biblical Manuscripts. Now all the new age versions including the SSBE bible come from the Alexandrian Manuscripts. I would greatly encourage you to research the manuscripts and prove to yourself that the king james bible is the word of god. In Psalms 12 verse 6 and 7 it says this "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
So in that verse god said he would preserve his words and purify them 7 times. the KJV is the 7th English translation and it took 7 years for the translators to translate that book.
Now what I wanted to get to was the name of the creator, i was told from a child that his name was Yahweh. however, it is NOT true and I will prove to you that the creators name is in Fact "Jehovah". Now before I was saved I always said, "Well there is no J in the Hebrew alphabet so it can't be Jehovah or Jesus."
Alright so let me explain, first off, how is it spelled in Ancient Hebrew? YHWH. so I have a question, how do you know to add the A and the E? well you don't know no one does, however, Romans 3 verse 1 and 2 gives you the answer. Paul says the the Jews preserved the oracles of God.
Well if you were a Jew 2 thousand years ago, you were the only one in the world who knew how to read those biblical manuscripts and the Jews are the ones who added the vowel points to the tetragrammaton and they added an "E O and an A" and the jews pronounced the Y like a J. Just like the Germans pronounce their J like a Y like in the German word for yes "Ja" it is pronounced "Ya" so the Ancient Jews called him Jehovah.
Now onto the name of Gods son. in the Greek Textus Receptus the name of the messiah is written "Iisoús Christós" In English that's Jesus Christ.
