Hey guys, how is everyone.

Well, Melanie, Thank you so much for the advice. You are right,it is very hard getting everything done in the night time and it upsets me b.c when I get home that is when I remember that I forgot to do something. Nights can be very crazy sometimes. Not much support. Most of the time I get 10 patients and some of them can be very needy. On Monday, I had four admissions and one transfer but I managed b.c the nurse who was working that day helped me out a lot and I really appreciated what she have done and she was precepting someone on top of that. In regards to the not so much support is that we have no ward clerk and you rarely see housekeeping and we can be short of aides. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy I have a job and very thankful for it but it just upsets me when the day nurses pushes all the admission on the night nurses b.c they shouldn't be discharging patients so late. Also, there are three day nurses and the nurse to patient ratio is 6:1 so it is not so overwhelming for them compare to nights...and they should be doing most of the admission since they also have a ward clerk. I don't know but how do u feel about this????
