In reply to: 's message, "Like they have for the last 4 Miss LA's C/I" on 07:08:08 02/01/09 Sun

"Dupont and Co." GAVE them their gown and other wardrobe peices but the gowns were chosen by the girls. They had choices. If they "talked" after they left the org. then maybe they were trying to blame someone other than themselves for not placing at Miss America. I don't think any shop owner could have afforded what JW dad did for her to win Miss La. but JW chose her gown. AJ won in a gown from "Dupont and Co." and designed her own gown for Miss America. BA was taken to market in Atlanta, it was stated at the trunk show, and BA chose her own wardrobe. So, YOU wake up and know what you are talking about before blaming someone else for other's short commings.

>Jamie, Amanda and Blair looked better when they won
>state than they did at Miss America. Does this tell
>you all anything about (B.O.D. and Dupont and Co.)
>Please B.O.D. try someone new to sponsor the clothes
>and get a wardrobe committee who knows what they are
>doing and doesn't have a monetary interest in the
>selection. Never have a sponsor on the grooming
>committee. Wake up and get with it! Use the girls
>local director to buffer between BOD and wardrobe
>committee. BOD, these formers do talk to their locals
>and other girls after they leave your organization and
>it's not positive...
