a perfect pageant.. LOL if there only was one! I think that you are doing a good thing with the whole natural one's but i also know that a lot of the girls love to be glitzed up.. So why not a double header?? Also make sure your judges aren't queens already.. they could have their fav's just by being around them. I think that the queens not the runner's up should have sashes like you make available to purchase. maybe you could do it to where more people would enter is if the girls win an overall title they can't compete any more in the prelim's of course they can compete at the for fun one's or the theme one's cause those are always just more fun! but for your actual prelim's i would have them not able to compete once you win an overall title until state! other than that I think the crowns are adorable! and love that you give sashes away to the runner ups that is something that not every pageant does and it makes all the girls feel like princesses!

I agree with the other mom. If you win an overall tittle then you need to not let them compete in other prelims to give others a chance at a big tittle. I also like the idea of there being some semi glitz involved. My daughter loves to get all dolled up once in a while. Make sure every child gets a trophy of some sort. I like medals for optionals instead of sashes. I think a system should have a standard crown for prelims. You can make special crowns for fun events. I think a standard crown for a system makes queens more recognizable as a group.
