You worded this so eloquently. My daughter too scored high, but was pulled for Beauty, but because she was pulled for beauty, wasn't eligible for supreme. I read the paperwork as well and thought that modeling was included in poise/personality and when I heard that the director did pageant coaching, would have judges that would look for correct modeling. So we were surprised and shcoked as well. I told my dd that if we did this pageant again that she would have to do a worse job, and then maybe she could win supreme. Sometimes you just never know what they're looking for.
