Results of the first MU’09 Poll

We asked our visitors to vote for their favorite contestant for Miss Universe 2009, and here are the complete results!

Miss Philippines

Miss Thailand

As expected, the Philippines and Thailand ended up in the first two positions, with a difference of only a few votes. Fans in these countries take pageants very seriously and will do anything to support their representatives.

In 3rd place we have Miss Mexico, followed by Miss Venezuela. Aruba and Indonesia did really well in the poll, then followed by Puerto Rico and Colombia. Fan favorite Miss Slovak Republic came in 9th place, followed by India. Two of the 45 delegates in the first poll, did not get any votes at all.

If a semi-final position was selected based on popular votes, the Philippines and Thailand would easily get the spot, based on the support they are getting. Good job!
