"I only just met you, but I don't think that you are a bad person. I don't believe in bad people. There are just people, and some of them do things that hurt others, 'bad' things, but I don't buy the whole good versus evil dichotomy that people seem to operate by. I--I think there is good in everyone, and I try to see it."

Ezra lazily watched the slowly rotating tops of the buildings loom over him disapprovingly while he listened to her words. He then nodded once slowly. "People should think more like you." he said, lifting his wrist slightly and pointing upwards matter-of-factly. He ran a few fingers absent-mindedly along his ribcage. "But yeah, I guess I can go with that. As in, people aren't born bad, you know? And say that even if later in life they do, say, hurt someone, like you said, it is possible that somewhere hiding inside them they still have a bit of that 'good' that they were born with, maybe even if they aren't aware of it themselves." His head tilted again slowly.

"Levez-vous, Ezra."

"I have no idea what that means, but I guess it has something to do with standing up." He clumsily clambered to his feet, partially supported by Natasha's arm around his waist. The feeling of consuming half a bottle of vodka on an empty stomach was really starting to pound him. He hadn't eaten anything that day yet. In all honesty he couldn't entirely remember when last he'd eaten anything... considering this he was rather surprised he hadn't thrown up or passed out yet. That was probably something he'd inherited from his father. Urgh, change the topic.

"The town is about a four or five hour drive from here, and no one's heard of it. It's really small. Isolated. The same people have lived there forever, it seems. It's practically incestuous. So what do you take photos of?"

"Wow, that isolated huh? It sounds interesting. Way more interesting than Tel Aviv or Cascade City. You know, small very isolated town that nobody's heard of, they've lived there forever, that sort of thing. his gaze flopped onto the ground ahead of them as they walked, his brain delightfully taking its time to notice the abrupt change of topic and responding appropriately. "Uh, well, what they tell me to, kinda... sometimes. I'm into photojournalism. But since I got here it's like any potential employment went 'Oh my god it's Ezra! Run!' and, well, ran. But I haven't actually been looking. Haven't really been doing much at all. What do you do? Hobbies? Interests? Apart from dancing. Have I asked you that? I can't remember. Urgh." He rubbed the back of his neck and fell silent for a few moments. He then looked up again. "Are we headed anywhere in particular? I just had an idea, if you want to, or something, we can see if the cafe is still open-? And maybe get summin' to eat? Or drink... er, maybe not something to drink... or maybe we could? Club Alien? Velvet Underworld? I known it sounds like a strip club but it's... not. I can walk you to, uh, wherever-?" He rambled on awkwardly, gesticulating while he talked as if this was going to make him sound more coherent. "Or we can just walk." Ezra brought his verbal marathon to an abrupt halt before he could make it any worse. He was terrible at this... thing called conversation. It was probably the reason why he had a grande total of one friend.
