"Right-I was." He looked back at the road before glancing at back at her "I was bringing up how I was looking for some leads to pick up on-" he stopped, breaking off his sentence as he checked his rear view mirror. Behind him, a black Mercedes turned onto Mainstreet, keeping some distance but following close behind him. It looked exactly like the car that he had noticed tailing him just a day ago.

He reached under his seat, grabbing one of the sub machine guns and handing it to Midori. "I'm assuming you know how to work one of these-you might need it" he said, his voice suddenly changed to a more serious, alert tone. "I think someone's tailing us-hold on." He slowed the car as he turned onto a side street leading off the main road.

He glanced into his mirror and saw the Mercedes continue to follow him. "I told you we might run into some unexpected trouble..."
