Subject: ::Leader of the Pack::

For the first time in two years, Verda had the opportunity to pause, take in the scenery, and relax a fraction. Though that last bit was nigh on impossible for any alpha to do. Her meager pack was trickling in from around the world, heeding their alpha’s call. She needed to seek out the loners in this territory, establish her dominance, and either bring them into the fold of her pack, or push them to the edges of the territory, and keep a sharp eye on them. One such loner was Craig Rhymes. Her stride down the street paused for a split second before resuming, her feet carrying her slowly down the sidewalk, away from the beach. The dominant wolf she’d left not two hours ago had her itching for action, whether it be a run through the woods in wolf form, or a workout in human. When she’d left him on the beach, she had run back to the apartment she was renting, a good five mile jog, but still she felt restless.

Her thoughts brought her to the hot dog vender, and she exchanged a couple dollars for one of the hot dogs. She nibbled at it in distraction as she continued on her way, gaze scanning the streets, and the other night-time citizens. Some were human, some not… some smelled of decay, which got her nose wrinkling and her hackles rising.
