He could feel Tarot’s presence before he could see her lovely face. His heart would have skipped a beat if it actually beat at all. But he held his breath with hope as he saw her figure emerging as the very last ways of sun disappeared beyond the distance sky scrapers. It was dark now and Zeth hovered closer to the shadow net hoping to stay closer to the circle of light from the overhead streetlight and away from the jaws from shadow beasts. He could hear them scratching their bloody nails against the cement. It was with a sigh of relief that he recognized the emerging figure as Tarot. His smile grew with pleasure as she placed a well aimed kick at Lezedi’s head.
Feeling sorry for Fury wasn’t making Zeth wish that it wasn’t his mouth on her. Of course, he’d never do it against her will like his sons were doing….(well….maybe…) but now that lines had been drawn, he felt responsibly for Fury’s safe return home. Surely the fiery Fury could sense that.
There were three midnight haired men and two red beauties. What odd colorations for a night on the town. Zeth was the father of the two identical twins but had never realized their existence. Leave it to Bri to keep more bastard children for her private games. It was odd to think that Zeth was trying so hard to convince Alicia to give him a child when they were coming out of the wazoo on Bri’s end. Whore.
“Tarot. Thank the Gods.” Zeth had just been considering using the ring on his right hand to summon Tarot. Of course, she had a knack for appearing without having to be called. Zeth loved that about her. He also assumed she was very timely…another great trait. His eyes filtered away from his son and to the beast at the female’s side. A mutt of a dog, but very good looking. Zeth wanted a dog. Maybe he could convince Alicia of that? I mean, after all, his next baby would want one eventually. A pang of regret met the outer edges of his head. He missed his old pet Vibe. She’d been a very good cat. “Tarot, Lucian and his twin are being rather assholeish. That’s Fury…” He pointed to the checkered shirted woman. “and Lezedi thinks she belongs to him.” His trigger finger moved to the youngest son. “and Lucian” it moved again “Is just being an ass.”
