Maybe it wasn't that he thought he could pull the wool over her eyes, but that he expected her to feel him and because of that, let the chore of verbally stating he was back, fall to the back of his mind. As the truck collided with his unmovable frame, it buckled and twisted with a sickening crunch, but he did not seem to notice, or he simply didn't care, a slight barring of his teeth not the only indication of his rage. He slowly straightened his body, dangerous, dark eyes, staying locked on the female, even as his hand snaked out and grasped the driver of the semi as he stumbled, dazzed, from the truck. With an easy flick of his wrist, the human male was in a heap on the ground, unmoving, but still, he advanced towards the vixen. Woman... Words snarled. No smirk settled on his lips; on his face sat a stoney, unwavering, deadly look. He neared her, tail straight out behind him, frame shuddering with pent up rage. Oh Khalid, if looks could kill.
