Lyla? Addison raised an eyebrow. Lyla? That was a girl's name, unless her English was slipping farther than she'd thought it had. Why was Verda meeting another woman at a bard? It was unusual for her to be wandering out and about in the first place (the woman lived in a hole behind the subway for pity's sake), but now to be meeting someone? Someone non-pack, non-family and, to her knowledge, non-lycan? Yeah. Something was going on here. Was this the kind of "meeting at the bar" that she should invade? Hmm. This was questionable.

I'm not exactly dressed for it, dear. Addison shrugged, glancing down at her parka, worn old jeans and scuffed suede boots. You have fun with your... erm... friend. I wouldn't want to, uh, interrupt anyways.

Now she should shuffled off to the hotel where she was hiding from her (again, questionable) boyfriend or should she pretend to shuffle off and really stalk Verda across town? Hrrrrm...
