Subject: League to remain as is, for all of you....Not me

I see the same rubbish is happening in this competition. It has become so Sheep stations in this comp, it prompted me to start a new league, and I have filled the positions of coaches to all but one spot.

It is disappointing to bow out of this comp, but I think you have all lost your way. It is supposed to be fun, and although I agree that Balance is important, there is no rules that suggest that one wrong balance issue is not as bad as another. And the top sides are loving it.

They have their balance right, so stuff the rest of you. Lower sides will now be in a downward spiral of not only failing to be competitive, but getting penalised for trying to. And is there a difference between playing a Noah Balta in the Ruck considering he is 200cm and very capable, to putting Caleb Daniel in the Ruck. NOT ONE DIFFERENCE AT ALL. That is why, you Mods have lost touch. Lost sense.

There are coaches on here that just follow like lemmings, whatever these Mods say is good for them, and that way, there is no sense voting at all.

I wasn't going to do anything but quit these competitions but I wanted to do it initially for my son Slade, who took over from my Cousin Mark, who both got tired of the penalties flowing through every week and especially Slade who hit the trade period hard last year, and seemingly fixed his ruck issues only for it all to turn disastrous for him like Marks experience.

I wish that upon all the coaches that voted these harsh rules in. I didn't fully understand the frustration until Witts injured a knee, and Stanley was out of favour. I didn't realise how out of touch mods were, until I luckily got Laverde swapped to defence, but if Essendon waited one more week, he would have been stuck in the forward line for the rest of the year, until the busy mods could spare a moment to open the Balance page up to any changes again. I hope you reap what you sew real soon, but when it happens, no doubt you'll have a conversation between a couple of you, and change it in the rules, in the dark of night.

Good to see that at least you have opened up these issues for coaches this time. But lets turn it around on the coach and a founding one at that, that points out that rules were bought in with insufficient discussions on a couple of occasions.

I reached out to discuss these issues with a founding coach I felt might be able to have a sensible discussion, but he ignored my email, so it sums out how out of touch this has all become, and I put him in the same basket as others who instigated a very bad taste in my mouth about it all.

Just simply lack of being able to discuss, and be mindful that we all need to get enjoyment. To deal with objections without being nasty.

The disrespect I felt from a couple of you, reflected poorly on you. GTD bringing up issues years ago. Brendan ruling with an iron fist, like the dictator I feel he is wanting to be. And Maxwell, ignoring my sensible discussions via email, and your lack of ability to weigh in sensibly on discussions without just losing yourself in your own successful sides set up, not thinking of the lower sides, and how they won't want a bar of this competition when they keep losing, year after year, because their idea of picking youth that will fix it all up in years to come DOESN'T work.


Already the Magpies are dangerously becoming the first side to do that. Miles off the pace.

But you have been through that before. Just didn't learn from your mistakes. When I left last time, the rich got richer, and the poor couldn't be bothered anymore. You had 2200 per week to 600. Get ready for that again in a couple of years....ENJOY.

And these balance rules, will have coaches sitting on depth of Ruck, Depth of Keys like a Dog on a hay bail. Like Slade, couldn't pry a decent one out for the life of him. No salary cap to avoid that from happening so not even that safety net.

Am I just being nasty on the way out, probably, but it is just out of the frustration that comes with trying to plead with you to think of the WHOLE comp, and not just your own side. No coach seemed to have that ability. How hollow will your premiership wins be, when they come thick and fast, when half the comp is struggling. How awesome will it be to get a dynasty of Premierships after Premierships, with only 4 or 5 teams competitive. It is a bitterness that is in me a bit. But when I think of Ultimate Coach coach, that is WAY better than this has ever been, that bitterness is gone.

One more spot for a very lucky coach. So if one coach is looking at a life boat hit me up. None of those that have made this exit what it has been. You know who you are.
