You named Crouch on ypur interchange bench,so like for like does not apply, so our first emergency would be fine regardless.Now if Crouch was named in the Centre, your first emergency would have needed to be somebody who could play centre, or your side be reshuffled to fill that role according to the balance sheet (which would never be a problem for mids and flankers I would have thought, only rucks, KPP and maybe pockets)

Ryder was a late out, a different issue all together.
