Why should a side not have to abide by team balance rules?

If the Team balance rules only apply when it is convenient, then just scrap them and have anybody name 22 players, and don't even bother to try to put them into positions.

The integrity of the SL game is at stake here. If positions are not important or ahherred to, the game is pointless in my opinion. I may as well just play Super Coach.
