Addison had come from a cushy background, and was generous with her money, and time, and while Verda appreciated it, the tunnels would not see the girl's comforts. the feeling is mutual Addison, she spoke telepathically, trying to keep their presence unknown to those who might cause them harm. And in the future dear, wear sneakers when you're needed down here. She was indeed mildly annoyed at the sounds both their feet were making, though Verda had gotten used to walking softly, muffling her footsteps. It seemed to take less time to get topside than it had to get within the tunnels, and Verda paused upon reaching fresh hair. She lifted her chin a fraction, and inhaled deeply through her nose, scenting the area, and taking stock of possible danger. None appeared to be near. She glanced toward addison, and then over her shoulder. "cassidy." A figure moved forward, and stood a fraction behind Addison, the front of her shoulder brushing the other girl's back. "Hey." Her words were soft, muffled as she glanced around nervously. Verda glanced between her two underlings and sighed. "All right Addison... Find a house... a big one for the pack to stay at when they need." Her English accent was stronger now, a hint of the tension she carried within her. She wasn't feeling too confident in the pack at the moment... she had most of the weaker members of the original pack... She'd have to really start searching for new members.
