Yes, the track allowed dogs, but they had to be on a leash. We did not always have a human attached to the other end, but I kept the leashes on most of the time. It wasn't bad.

I am sorry to hear about Sweet Pea's fear issues. In 1990's I had a female American Bulldog that was very fearful. It can be very hard, I know. It sounds like you are on the right track with Sweet Pea. When I look at her pictures in the water it is hard to imagine that she is fearful.

My American Bulldog could not function outside of her comfort zone -- which was my house, barn and property. When I took her to the vet she would try to hide under the other dog. If I brought her collar and leash out of the closet, she would run to her bed and play dead. There were signs of her fear issues when I bought her at 8 weeks old. The day I brought her home she tried to crawl under the seat of the car. But, even with all of her fear issues, I loved her dearly.

I am also sorry to hear about Bear's x-rays. Hopefully the second opinion with another ortho surgeon will be better. Keep us informed.

Give the sweeties a hug from us!!
