Dimitri blinked up into the late summer sun, hair shining in the blaze of light. It hurt his eyes- every time he caught a glimpse of the sun's reflection he recoiled, hissing in pain. After lunch, he really did need to find a pair of quality sunglasses. (or just ask Telly or Toan to do it). A single dog trotted on a long, Louis Vitton leash at his side, the smaller canine- Sam. He eyed his master's sandalled feet every few moments, as if debating whether or not they were for him. No, he decided, probably not.

The pair strode down crowded city blocks and trash-bedecked sidewalks until they reached the east end of town, having taken a long walk circuiting the city to end up, once again, close to home. True to his promise to remain urban, Dimitri had abandoned his trenchcoat and frills (for the afternoon, at least) and was decked out in nothing more than a worn gray-cotton t-shirt and tight-fitting jeans, hair tied back around a shoulder.

Come along, Samhain. He muttered, tugging sharply at the least as the dog stopped in the window of the cafe and began to whimper. Come now, silly dog. There's a bakery not a few steps away!

The vampire and the dog made their way down the street, ducking into the bakery's large front room. To Dimitri's eyes everything was delectable- and too adorable to eat. Cucpakes shaped like kittens? Awwww~! And the little sheeps!

We should have brought Telly, Sam.
