She'd never known a blood pact to work so strongly before - but then Zeth wasn't an average vampire either, though he liked to appear so. Nodding to the waiter as he left and catching the look Zeth had given the human male, Alicia - feeling slightly annoyed - decided to go a step farther. As the male waited on another table nearby Alicia allowed the glass of ice water - as she'd not wish to stain another's clothes - to tip forward and all over the front of the waiter. Placing napkin against lips as if to blot perfectly placed makeup the petite yet curved blonde hid her smile before turning full attention towards Zeth and Ashena once more. "It does seem things are looking up for you both." Polite response given, though she meant it. "I assume you'll want to get right to that..." She let the subject die - a silent message to Zeth that implied she did not wish him gone so much - missed him more daily. Though there was also the promise she had made - but she did not wish to do it alone - and him off snapping pictures of barely dressed women while she stayed at home knocked up was not a picture of fun for the blonde. In truth they could have held this conversation even with Ashena in Zeth's mind - but the fact the woman had been kind enough to withdrawal gave some points back to the woman who had become like a death trap to all those around her - as well as Zeth's major cash cow and best friend. Alicia could have easily blocked the other from their conversation, as no blood was shared between the two of them nor would it be - that the blonde knew of. She wasn't trying to be annoyed or vain or even clingy - but Zeth was her man and already she had sacrificed so much. The weeks of nursing Zeth back to health had taken its toll and perhaps it was lack of sleep that caused the normally unrattled female to flicker only briefly from emotion to emotion. Though it was soon over and the wide smile returned. "I think we'll have to have a new waiter, as our previous one was rather clumsy." She did not want water on her white slacks - that would not go over well - for her, though the men would love it. Placing both hands on top of the table for a moment Alicia took a sip of the water she'd had delivered. It seemed they were growing awkward in their conversation and hating to cause such a rift she did her best to continue the conversation - even though the topic was one that she knew little about save what Zeth cared to tell or she'd picked up from watching on television. "So when are they waiting the magazine out? Is it a one time deal or are you going to do a new one every quarter?" It was something - she only hoped Zeth saw the effort made and that Ashena realized she was not hated, but welcomed, within guidelines.
