I'm not sure that it is, anymore than nonexistence is a form of existence. On what grounds are we to say that God would have non-being if he was the greatest being?

You said premise 2:

2. There can be no being greater than God.

Implies premise 7:

7. God must be the greater nothing.

Which just doesn't logically follow.

Now you said:

That does not appear to logically follow. God having the greatest possible being means he cannot have the greatest non-being. It would be like being the greatest means having the greatest possible non-greatness. It just doesn't make any sense.
