The stallion stalks his forest silently, lobes flickering about as he searches for his daughter. He emits a slight snort as he spots her, yet does not approach, knwoing she wished for time alone earlier. Obsidian horns chew at the ground, leaving their mark in his soil, his territory. He was the proud owner of it all, but what did it mean? She what if he owned a sanctuary, a forest, all it's occupants? He only wanted one thing, one emotion that was banned from his heart, one suculent desire that he could not have. Love. Pure, raw emotions, filled with such passion and ferver. But his requests had been rejected time and again. He had been left a powerful steed, with brain and brawn, yet no heart.
He snorts, pushing his thoughts away, concentrating on what mattered most now. The happiness of his only offspring, one of the most glorious things that could have happened to him. And she was troubled. He did not know why. Was it because of the colt, this... Nameless? Had he hurt her? Heaven help him should he run into the steed of ebon, should the filly's father find out that the boy was being unfaithful. And yet, was that not part of life? The pain? He felt it plenty, but he would die before he let his only daughter feel it.
