 just depends on where you live. Each country and state/province has different rules for homeschooling. So first check into what the rules are where you live. Once you establish that, and it is possible to homeschool, then you need a person to doing the teaching. It takes fewer hours each day to homeschool than in the schools, but it is a time commitment. The biggest benefit is you control what is taught. And as you correctly pointed out, many of the teachers these days are close to functional idiots. They also have an agenda that does not always include actual critical thinking, reading, writing and math.
