The sixth chapter of my long-running series about cigar-chomping anti-heroine Breanna Dirks is ready for public consumption, picking up where the previous chapter left off and progressing from Christmas season to Valentine's season, making this chapter somewhat seasonally appropriate for its end-of-January release....

As always, I'll offer a trigger warning that if you're among those who prefers your smoking fetish fiction G-rated, this is not the story for you. The opening scene features a graphic sex scene. Sexuality in my stories always serves a narrative purpose and does here as well, but I'll concede that my Breanna series actually does fit the "gratuitous" profile that my critics allege of everything I write. No apologies though....and I'm confident that those who get this series will find plenty to like here.

And I've settled on an endpoint for this series of 10 chapters, which seems fitting for the narrative arc I'm going for. That will allow fans four more chapters to look forward to sprinkled intermittently in the years to come. I hope you enjoy.
