This is a very relevant issue for me. From a personal, firsthand point of view, not long after my Aunty helped me, as a 7-year-old boy to start smoking, she began letting me take Sevredol every day and spent my childhood in an opiate comfort zone filled with clouds of cigarette smoke always around me. Meth came my way when, one evening as a 13 year-old kid, the lady whose children I babysat for, offered me a complementary hit of P, which is the NZ name for meth. I loved the experience of a needle filled of speed going into me so much that I am still shooting up large amount of crack most days, as does my wife. Worse still, our granddaughter Indie, who is only 9 but been a cigarette smoker since she was 5, became aware of our using of a needle not long ago and became extremely curious about the way it made us feel. I know it is probably wrong and frowned upon, after much debate, it was agreed some months ago, with Indie's approval, for Cathy, my wife, to offer our gd her first hit of meth. It was, from my point of view, which is definitely a dark side one, a beautiful sight to see my wife Cathy give Indie, both of them with a fag dangling between their lips, put a needle of meth into her. Yes, she loved it, yes, so di we, yes, Indie wanted us to keep giving her meth, yes, we've significantly increased her dose, yes, as a result, Indie feels, from the meth in her, to smoke cigarettes even more heavily and, yes, our gd now uses meth a lot and loves it probably as much as Cathy and I!! I can talk more privately if you want to chat. xo
