3 hours which end up being 4. Yep I get that. It used to be stop the car I need the toilet now its stop the car I need to smoke.

I've had many a conversation with my parents about what it was like when they were younger in regards to the restrictions and prices that we're all suffering today. (by the way I'm doing my cigarette run to the shop tomorrow so how many cartons do you want me to put by for you lol) anyway and it was a completely different world.

Everyone smoked, no one battered an eye lid regardless of who you were or how old you were. It was mainstream. Kids could buy them from shops, much wider variety and also stronger cigs to smoke as well with some being medium to high tar and my Mum says around 12p for a packet of 20.

Hands up who would like that world to return today.

Today although our children have friends who smoke you wouldn't advertise it about for the reproductions that would be coming your way and you certainly wouldn't let them smoke out in public.

You mention your not so favourite green party in destroying everything whilst being hypocritical at the same time. They should of just stayed at saving whales and let the less so stupid do the politics.

Now I live in the countryside, our nearest neighbour is half a mile away so not being so much of an urban person I'm not sure if we have public smoke free zones, we possibly do, it's not something I am used to where I live but that is just horrendous.

In summary, like you say, they won't ban it however with alcohol you can be out of control and commit crimes and worse through drink driving, but smokers get the raw deal.

Something isn't right
